amazing house by Takeshi Hosaka Architects

Takeshi Hosaka Architects has designed an amazing house where the people prefer to live in a house where the quantity of natural light more fresh and natural than the use of the artificial light. Called Daylight House located in Yokohama, Japan and the fantastic thing about it is related to the idea that its residents can live under the natural lighting from sky here. Just about five minutes walk from the railway station and is structured by laying a basic grid (approx. 1500mmx1600mm) over the site, and using the volume of a single high-ceilinged room with a bedroom, kids’ room and study partitioned off using fittings approximately half the height of the ceiling. The natural light is provided by the 29 skylights (approx 700mm square) installed in the roof that illuminate the room as soft light diffused through the curved acrylic ceiling plates. There is an air space between the acrylic surface and the roof which assures comfort during summer or winter. Daylight House is expression of the beauty of natural light and white interior with white pieces of furniture to increase this idea. All over the place there are lights and glass elements that fit perfectly ventilated house full of light. Natural light has always been appreciated more than the artificial light and its numerous advantages; it is healthier and does not cost us anything.
