A luxurious summer house was designed by Mareines and Patalano Arquitetura located near Rio de Janeiro in the lovely small beach with an amazing blue water. With the speed boat we could surround the beach, architectural design is inspired by Brazilian Indians perfectely suitable for hot and humid climate. Flowers reminiscent of the roof acting as a big leaf that protects from the sun closed all the spaces of the house, Trees around the house seemed like a natural forest. This house is perfect for social gatherings and parties for a comfortable porch and open spaces between rooms. Open layout also takes advantage of the trade winds that blow from the sea, providing natural ventilation and passive cooling. There are no corridors and in and out almost together. Rain water harvested from roofs for reuse. With a touch of natural, organic aesthetic and property details, home brazilian vibrant harmony with nature. This is a cool example of how a tropical beach house can be connected to nature. Via
